4 When prompted, install a tube containing approximately 3 mL of 15%
Contrad® 70 cleaning solution, then click OK.
The cytometer loads the tube and fills the flow cell with the cleaning fluid.
5 Click OK when the completion dialog appears.
6 If this is part of a daily shutdown, perform these steps.
a Turn off the cytometer main power.
b Exit BD FACSDiva software and shut down the computer.
7 If you are cleaning the flow cell to improve performance and will continue
to use the system, increase the Contrad 70 solution to 100%, and perform
these steps:
a Wait a minimum of 15 minutes to let the cleaning fluid remain in the
flow cell.
The longer the cleaning fluid remains in the flow cell, the more effective
it will be. You can repeat the Clean Flow Cell procedure multiple times
if required.
b Remove the closed-loop nozzle and install the correct nozzle size.
c Restart the stream to flush the cleaning fluid from the flow cell.
